Web Developer
Bakers Digital Communication is recruiting a Web Developer.
Main Responsibilities
• Work closely with account managers and strategists in order to develop and achieve the best possible and appropriate design/visual solutions for our clients
• Plan, analyze and design cutting edge websites as well as branded content
• Participate in new business pitches when design feedback is required and get involved in the implementation, understanding the business requirements and trying new ideas
Job Requirements
• Build website from concept to completion and everything in between (home page to site layout and function)
• Good management of maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across sites
• Good understanding of developing applications on MySQL
• Proven work and experience with front-end web technologies including HTML 5, XHTML, CSS 3, Javascript, jQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries (e.g. AngularJS)
• Using version control (Git would be preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of Content Management Systems (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento)
• 2+ years of proven experience in web design and software development experience in PHP
• Knowledge and expertise also in the mobile area will be appreciated
• Excellent English language skills
